The Blue Lagoon

We had our first kiss on the park bench

That overlooks the Blue Lagoon

We faced east

Then, you north, and I south

We gazed deep into our horizons

And suddenly, your palm found my thigh

Like a man finds solid ground

You dug in, tilling gently, and sank down

I turned to water as if from the sky

And found my optimum repose in your mouth

I turned to water as if from the sky

And found the rest of my life in your eyes
